Can you believe its been a year since he got here?!! One year ago today, little Niko Bear was born and today we are celebrating! We keep our tradition alive of rushing into the birthday kids room and dumping balloons on them, something we started with Adley, and baby brother loves it! the baby gets so excited being surrounded by all the balloons.
Adley and Jenny prepare for the big party by decorating the house and getting the cake all ready. Jenny and I have an awesome surprise for Niko, if you remember Adley's first birthday, we took here to a stuffed animal shop where she picked out a bunny to be here stuffed animal. It's still one of her favorite toys and we're going to let Niko pick out his stuffed animal today. He picks out the cutest teddy bear I've ever seen. Now Bear has a baby bear of his own.
It's now party time! Our whole family comes over to celebrate Niko's birthday. He has a blast, thought he's not quite sure what to think of everyone singing. He has cake, opens tons of gifts, and then get a swim in the sink. He's super messy after his cake, but luckily he loves water, so he has tons of fun. We then show you all of his baby pictures and a great flash back to when Niko was born.
I love Niko so much, he's my little Bear. He's so much fun to play with and the best to cuddle. I can't wait for what the next year in our lives has in store, as he keeps growing and getting smarter, and we get to make more amazing family memories together!!
