Hello friends! In today's video we are continuing the holiday series of: Thrifting For Gifting. We'll be visiting three different local thrift stores. The goal for the thrift trips are to acquire books, baskets, and items that correlate to the stories or book topic. So think of a themed gift basket that shares the love of reading! By thrifting for gifts, we're shopping sustainably while also being creative. I'm planning to add more children's books this thrift trip. I would also like to find larger baskets so I can fit some of the larger books (the cookbooks and gardening books) into them. And we can't forget about the items to put into the baskets along with the book! Since these items are specific to each book, I've started a running thrift list so I can keep track of the trinkets I'm hoping to find.
