Hello friends! In today's video we are out thrift shopping for Christmas gifts. If you've been following along for this Thrifting for Gifting series, we're currently on Episode 3. This year's goal was to create the "book basket" gift idea that I gifted to a handful of people last year. We're looking for baskets, and books to put into those baskets along with items that correlate to the book or story. Today I'm searching for trinkets and various accessories to fill the baskets with. My idea for the cookbooks I've found was to find kitchenware items or decorative dishes and serving trays. We'll also be making diy garden markers to go along with our herb garden book basket. One of the best things about thrifting and antique shopping is the hunt for treasure! We never know what we're going to find and it offers us the ability to find unique things. Your friends and family will love these gifts because they are gifts from the heart. Find a book you either know they love (or think they'll love), honestly you could even share one that you love- then place it in the basket and have fun hunting for the things that can make the story or book really come to life!
